We part from the initiative to create sustainable luxury pieces from materials discarded from the environment. Our main aim is to create fashion with a purpose, forming a circular economy that is beneficial for our society. We work hand in hand with artisans and recyclers in order to create job opportunities that can aid the community and make it a better place.
In TDL we are faithful to our journey of sustainable production. We produce limited stock for each iconic and timeless design, resulting in less waste created. The limited quantity also makes each design exclusive and unique, making it a rare find- a diamond in the rough.
SUSTAINABILITY
TRANSFORMING WASTE INTO ART
This is the premise we have as the basis of our sustainability model. This model is a cycle that is characterized by replacing the traditional cycle of manufacture and use by one where we prioritize the recycling and reuse of waste, and then incorporate them into our pieces. In this way, we seek to significantly lengthen the life cycle of products and minimize resource costs.
In the same way, our chain of suppliers is made up of artisans and recyclers who work exclusively with elements from our environment, to create pieces that manage to communicate a unique universe through the dialogue of the smallest detail.
FROM OUR FOUNDER
From the colombian tropics, TDL was born in 2015 with the challenging initiative of creating articulated parts with discarded materials from the environment, in favor of a collective of master craftsmen and local recyclers.
Our cutting-edge engineering plans in each of our parts circular transformation materials as a waste reduction alternative, creating a positive impact proposal within the voracious fashion industry.
From our heart we faithfully believe that sustainability can go hand in hand with luxury and that quality and aesthetics should not be at the sacrifice of our environment.
True to our principle of small size, each part is meticulously designed to positively impact pollution footprint reduction, which in turn strengthens the economy of small businesses, creating support for our most vulnerable population in Colombia.
