Our honest philosophy
We understand as a brand that we are active agents within society, that is why we intend to establish clear guidelines in our contribution and therefore, we are open to any questions about our practices, willing to provide clear and honest information.
CIRCULARITY AND SUSTAINABILITY
CIRCULARIDAD Y SOSTENIBILIDAD
Committed fashion
Circularity takes things much further by bringing the concept of waste reduction to the beginning of the design process. That’s why we have chosen to incorporate innovative sustainable materials (including organic and recycled synthetics) and have transformed, polished and renewed them to give our pieces a unique and singular look.
We also support the high purpose of ease of use and long-lasting concepts by creating standout garments that support the perception of slow fashion, multi-purpose use and non-seasonal adherence.
Our packaging is made from organic products, reducing the use of plastic throughout the value chain we offer to our buyers, contributing to the reduction of carbon footprint and pollution of water sources.
WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT
WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT
We stand up for our community
We strongly believe in the empowerment of our master artisans, who are mainly women heads of households.
Our main goal is to provide a space where their creativity is highly valued and can become a great source of income to support their families as well.
We also believe that our farmers and recyclers are a sample of great local participation where gender equality is significantly represented, as they also act as great collaborators, collecting metal tabs and seeds.
MADE IN COLOMBIA
HECHO EN COLOMBIA
Act local, think global
Our production takes place in Barranquilla, Colombia because we are committed to our local environment and are 100% sure that our country has great potential. We also want to improve the living conditions of many people living in poverty and we believe that we can be agents of change.
We also believe that proximity allows us to control and ensure that all our manufacturing and production processes can be regulated and aligned with the purposes that we demand as a brand.
RECYCLING
RECYCLING
We wanted to go a step beyond recycling so we adopted creative recycling, we went into the search for materials that were in our daily lives and that society usually discards. From this motivation, we are always looking for new inspirations.
And we discovered that there is a beauty effect in them, which gave us the perfect way to create beautiful and unique items.
Tagua seeds
This seed is extracted from the fruit of the Ivory Palm (Phytelephas seemannii, Phytelephas Macrocarpa). This palm grows in jungle regions such as the Lower Magdalena, the Pacific Coast and Urabá. We respect the natural flow and collect them once they have fallen from the tree.
Recycled metallic can tabs
We use them to create our iconic bucket bag, these small elements are collected by local recyclers and then used to create our fabric.
Orange Peel
This very common element, allowed us to build several parts of our bags and besides its undoubted beauty, its scent fills us with so much joy.
